Postul: Software Engineer
Descrierea postului: The consultants selected for this lot will carry out one or more of the following main tasks: • Produce software artefact in line with the specifications and quality criteria identified in each individual assignment; • Translate requirements (use-cases) into detailed and accurate solution design specifications, adequate for software development or customisation of standard software products; • Enforce the implementation of the available architectural blueprints for software solutions including infrastructure related aspects; • Implement change requests for existing applications or bespoke systems and continuously keep technical documentation synchronised and up to date; • Actively participate the acceptance processes for the delivered end-products in cooperation with selected business users; • Participate in the activities related to the design phase of the usability aspects for the targeted solutions and software products; • Contribute to data modelling design activities; • Contribute to writing handover and operational maintenance documentation. Requisites MUST HAVE: • Experience in JAVA (JEE Framework) technologies matured preferably in integration projects • Very good knowledge of J2EE technology • Good knowledge of Apache Tomcat and BEA Weblogic • Knowledge of Oracle 10g or later • Practical experience in collaborative development environments (e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio TFS) • Experience with iterative software methodologies (Agile/Scrum) • Very good English language skills. Description of required resources • Weekly availability: 5 Days per week. The tight time constraint of the programme requires full time commitment. Leave requests will be planned in advance at the start of the contract. • Preferred Start Date :8th of March 2010 • Tentative End Date: 29th February 2012 • Location: Helsinki • The working language of the project will be English
